Does anyone else's cham get this angry when they stick there hand in there home? because this is Po when I'm trying to feed her.. or if I just make it apparent that I'm looking in her house.

hahah Po lunges at me if I get too close and she's nailed me a few times. Her bites are starting to hurt now! I talk to her alot, always asking why she hates me so much she usually replies with more hissing.

Hes fr, but if i get to close to him when hes in a mood, he hisses and gapes and tries to bite.

Try free ranging. Kink got alot better after i started doing this.

I have to say, thanks for the laugh...it seems like most, if not all veiled are this way at some point. I do admire your unconditional love for her tho! I'm sure she'll come around eventually!

She seriously is so mean I thought about giving her up.. but I have put so much money into her since I got her that it's pretty much a mission to have her grow up happy and healthy... even if she hates me ): plus I hope one day she'll appreciate me!

Well thank you I appreciate it I'm doin what I can! What colors do females usually turn when they are fully matured? I saw some with a bit of blue, that would be pretty.

I think it's the males that actually mature into some nice coloration...and don't feel bad, my female Jackson would probably bite and hiss at me too if she was a veiled! She's broken my heart so many times already but I just take pride in the fact that she is healthy and thriving all thanks to me =)

this is my girl. she has generally decent coloration for a girl - yours could definitely turn out the same, or even more vibrant.

and she was definitely a raging bitch at one point. keep trying to hand feed, and lure her onto your hand. sit with her, and let her walk where she desires. even if it stresses her out, she will almost definitely come around eventually

Po usually perches on my head or wraps around my bun. I have faith that she'll be able to stand me one day though

my girl wouldn't take crickets from my hand for a while either, it would have to be tweezers or a bowl. when she is large enough, you should feed her superworms from your hand. that should get her acclaimed to hand feeding rather rapidly. i wish you luck though, they can get rather frustrating
