Ants !!

Hey everyone this morning when I woke up and turned on the lights I noticed that there was a cricket dead with about 29-30 ants attacking his body inside my chameleons cage what can I do about this ? I don't want them to attack my chameleon or harm him .. Has anyone else had this problem before ?

First take the cricket out and try to not leave them inside for long if your chameleon isn't hungry, is your chameleon inside or outside your house?, is it on a stand, what i did and has worked for me so far, is i bought that ant gel repellent and put all around the legs of my stands and cords going up to the cage, had no ant problems since

I cleaned everything up right away so the cage is clean it's inside my home in a second living room that we don't use the only reason we come in here is for our chameleon he's on a marble table so his cage is raised and not on the ground ... Do you know the name of the ant gel ? I'll go pick some up and try it out !

I've struggled with ants for years, finally I decided to call orkin to come and spray my house. They spray a full perimeter around your house and a few spots inside the house and the barrier lasts a good 3 months. Not a single ant has been found in my house since. It's well worth the money especially if you have babies cause ants can kill them.
