Any feeders that chan be injected easily?

Got meds for my cham, the meds need to be injected into his food... The dubia roaches I got (40 miles away) ended up being too big.

Ideas?

I have superworms, no one has hornworms or silk worms..

edit: I can't stand sticking the roaches with a needle - I started crying and now I'm mad at myself.. it looked so painful.. even I myself HATE needles.. ughh!

I have heard large crickets work well. I will be injecting some tomorrow? or the next day(trying out reptiaid), ill let you know how it goes

I found my hissing roach young to be the easiest to inject. ( i know what you mean about needles and feeling bad for the roach)
You might be able to inject Small amounts into crickets.
Could you give the cham a superworm and squirt the meds into his mouth while he chews?

I heard the same, i think it was 'Julirs' That said it, 'Large crickets work well, but make sure yiour cham is very hungry before you give it to them'

Hissing roaches here cost upwards of two dollars each and I need at LEAST 10!! I can't afford them and the ones they had were about one inch long.

Then you're going to have to inject a part dose into multiple feeders. Hope your cham is a good eater!

Syn, Are you sure you cant squirt the liquid into your chameleon's mouth while it chews?

(you might find you get better at it after the third or fourth feeder, or at least less upset by the process)

Yeah. It's pretty ridiculous, but there aren't many reptile places around here.

(they had adorable baby chams as well, a runt, a BIIIIIIG one, and a normal sized one, all looked about 3 months or less)

Well the one in the screen cage was - good lighting etc. Tube light not the compact - but he brought out the other chams in a small tub with some paper towels in it - hopefully temporary just to show me them.

Well, maybe if you're quick you can put the tip of the syringe (without needle) into his mouth?
For recent panacur treatment, I was given a syringe with a rubber tip on it so I could stuff it in Truckers mouth while he ate. He has been annoyed by this. But he cant resist certain foods (silkworms, stick insects) so even though he sees me there with the syringe in my hand he still eats and gets his meds!

Well I bought a curved tipped syringe from LLLreptile, maybe I can put the stuff in the curved syringe and try that.. don't know if he'd like it, smells HORRIBLE!!

Where did you get the stick insects? (Local?)

Are they expensive?

Are they healthy for chams..?

Do you breed your own?

Are they easy to breed? (If yes to the last one )
