I'm not sure if my baby flapneck is ok. He was with my sister the past weekend as I was away. He was a little stresses when I collected him yesterday afternoon, but did eat a couple of crics and looked ok. Today I i saw that he is not interested in his food and that he is slighly dehydrated. I misted him often, which seems to stress him out futher, but I noticed that there are white thingies on his nose. I read on a past post that they expel salt through their nose. Is that normal? Is there anything that I must do differently? He might also just be due for a shed as he is looking kinda dull at the moment. I'm worried about him.
He is in a mesh cage, the temp is around 30 to 35 degrees by the basking light side and around 25 degrees on the other side. I don't have something to measure humidity, there is a live hibiscus and plenty fake vines and jungle sticks for him to walk on,. I have a 10.0 UV lamp that is less than 2 months old and he is on a 12 hour light schedule. Ì mist about 3 times a day as I am working full time, but there is a dripper that drips on a leave on the hibiscus. I don't pick him up daily, but hand feed him about 3 crics in tne morning and I leave about 7 or 8 in a feeding bowl for him to eat.
I hope this is enough back ground info
