Any known fixes for Monsoon mister cycle issues

Besides putting it on a separate timer, are there any known fixes for this misting system?

It was working great for a month and now it only mists for about 10 seconds regardless of how long I set the cycle for. I do think it is going off at regular intervals as evidenced by water at the bottom.

I contacted Hagen but not too hopeful.

For a replacement if necessary is Mistking the way to go? It's a custom setup 4 feet high by 3' X 3'
Anyone know if the Mistking uses same diameter tubing so I don't have to rerun all the lines?

I think they are the same sized tubing, note I said THINK! Yes mistaking is the way to go. They are very reliable, but I think the service lacks. Others seem ok with their service, could just be me! Loln

Yes, it is the same size tubing. I like the climist. It's not as expensive as a Mistking and it works just the same and you can find replacement parts on eBay and Amazon. Plus they have very responsive customer service. Before upgrading, I contacted Mistking with some questions and never received answers and it left a sour taste in my mouth so I kinda agree with Laurie when it comes to customer service.

I read reviews people complaining about climist, but most say good things. IMO if you have the little more mistking costs, get it. You'll never have issues. I'm not sure if anyone has ever had a monsoon work consistently in the long run and I have never heard of a problem with MK.

Not at all. I bought a 2nd $40 used Climist pump off of eBay and it has worked perfectly for me since I got it and I called them after ordering parts from their website as it was only the pump and I needed tubing and whatnot and I realized I forgot to get a bulkhead and when I called I got a person on the phone right away and they added it to my shipment and even asked me questions about my setup to make sure I had everything else I needed. Plus tubing from them in only $0.25 a foot.

It's like Team Climist vs Team MK. Team MK is bigger but Team Climist is scrappy. I have veileds, I'm mean like them.
