Appetite loss still?

Hi,
My little yemen chameleon Woody still has a strange appetite. I put 4 hoppers in yesterday and he ate them while we were out of the house. Ive put 4 in today and im ive been in the house all day and he isnt eating them. Can this be cause hes shy? only eats in private? is this common? Hes 6 months old and ive had him a week and a half.

Start feeding him every other day. They get bored with their food if it's in there all the time. Give him the same amount every other day that you'd be feeding every day. I feed mine every other day and I give mine all that he wants on his day to eat. Jann

a week and a half is a short time for his acclimation. It's very common for them to not eat in front of others, at least not for a while. the closer they get to a year, the less they will feed. I would follow Jann's routine as well.
