are bannana plants safe for chameleons?

i bought one of these as they look really cool and want to put it in the tank for my veiled chameleon but i know they eat plant matter so is this plant safe for them

I hear that the Dwarf Banana trees are fine as they are non toxic. im not sure bout the standard Banana plant perhaps one fo the senior guy could answer this....... I'd love to have one as they look cool!

I say ok but it is just based on the use of banana leaf in human foods. It won't offer your cham much area for climbing though. Great for shade outdoors.

I also feed them to my tortoises. They love them.
