are mealworm beetles safe for a chameleon?

so some of my mealworms are turing into beetles becasue my chameleon wont eat the mealworms and they're just left there. so now they're beetles are they safe to feed to my veiled? also 2 of my wax worms dissapered... i bought 5 the other day just to see if he'll eat them... i gave him 2 on the first day, the second day 1 dissapered so i gave him the remining 2 he ate 1 of them so i put the other one back and today its gone!!! i left them in the same container as the mealworms... might the mealworms have eaten them??

I have in the past. But, I only feed them when the beatles first emerge from their pupae stage (when they're white in color).

The occassional meal beetle is fine. A bit crunchy, in my opinion, to offer more than just occassionally.

The mealworms or beetles could very well eat a waxworm.
