are moths okay for veiled chams to eat?

i just had my vielvex chameleon out on my hand and all of a sudden she spotted a moth and ate it , is this okay??

Most likely yes because in the wild they are known to eat moths and butterflies.

I wouldn't worry about it unless there's a lot of pesticides or other kinds of poisons in your area that the moth might have eaten. I've had a moth problem in my office since I tried to feed wax worms, and I often catch my chams snacking on those flying free range boogers.

You can also let waxworms pupate and release the moths into your chameleon's enclosure. Most can't resist anything with wings.

I'm sure it depends on the moth but in the summer I feed some of my panthers a wide variety of wild moths and have never had any issues.
