im needing to put some weight on one of my males and i was told that silk worms will do the job. im jus wondering if there full of phosphorus. and how many silk worms he can eat a day?

silks are a good feeder but they are lowfat and do not contain alot of phosphorus. They are about 6 grams of fat like a cricket but a cricket contains about 4 times the amount of phosphorus from what I have read. you said your chameleon was about a year old right? I would feed 4 or 5 of them and mix a few other feeders in too. I feed my chameleons every other day but when I do, I usually include silks in their diet.
