I recently purchased little cups of string bean plants to put inside my chameleons cage. Although before i did put them in, i wanted to know if the chameleon where to munch on them, could it harm my chameleon?
I wouldnt want him to get sick. If they arent the right kind of plants then which plants do you guys suggest to put inside his tank?
By the way, he is a veiled chameleon that is 2 years old
Thanks

I have used them in my outdoor cage for a couple years now.Since there a vegitable plant I asume they are safe.

I think that bean foliage has a lot of nitrates in it. I don't know if that might harm chameleons(?).

Don't assume that all parts of vegetable plants are safe to eat. The foliage of potatoes is pretty toxic with arsenic.
