Are these burns on my cham?

Hello!

I’ve been noticing my chameleon’s veil has been turning gray with some black areas, at first I thought it could be he’s just getting adult coloring, but reading around it crossed my mind that his veil could be getting slowly burned? Should I move my light bulbs a little higher? What do you think? Thanks for your time!

I don't see that it is a burn. My males looks like that a little bit. His is more of a black trim around the edges.

My boy does the same. Here's a side by side comparison after 15min in the natural sunlight

Looks like his coloring is coming in. They can get the black coloring along the ridge of the casque and then around their eyes.
