You (or your pet store) almost definitely have the species misidentified. The species you have linked to is highly protected and has not been available for almost 8 years now. Do you have any photos of the actual animals for sale that we can identify for you? You might look at photos of other Pygmy Leaf Chameleons (i.e. Rieppeleon, Rhampholeon and Brookesia species), because what you saw was not Brookesia perarmata.

Or the pet store is. I've lost count on how many times I've gone into a pet store and saw Brookesia peramata listed on the enclosure when in reality was a Rieppeleon brevicaudatus.
