ARTI Incubator

Who out there is currently using one of these units. What I would like to know is it really worth the money...does it really do what it says or is it just a fancy version of the reptipro, exoterra box incubators?????

You can do the same thing, at least from a cooling perspective, with a wine cooler and a ranco controller for a lot less.

If you need to heat, a dorm fridge with some heat tape in it and a Ranco controller can do that.

Do a search for that and you will see some options.

Kevin, this is what I'm currently working on.

I have a mini fridge that I plan to install heat tape inside of. It also functions as a fridge for cooling.

I plan to control it with this:

Supposedly it works really well at an incredibly low price. It will both heat and cool. The fridge will be plugged into the cooling switch and the heat tape will be plugged into the heating switch. It only requires a little bit of wiring. I'll let you know how it works but I think it will basically be the cheapest way to have an incubator that maintains a set temperature by both heating and cooling. Great for campani eggs. :)

I have a similar controller still in the box. I'm gonna use it to control heat tape.

If I could make a suggestion- set up two of the incubators you plan to make. You won't be able to break diapause only using one with multiple clutch's laid at different times.
