artificial plants

i know live plants are way better but at the moment i need to add some artificial plants.

wich ones are the best? silk?plastic?

I would say a mixture of both. Silk absorbs the water to maybe help keep up the humidity a little and hopefully on the plastic the water will bead up so that your cham can lick water off the leaves to drink.

both are fine, just make shure they dont have anything your cham can eat. large leaves and dont rip easy or fall off are best. also beware of little barries or anything like that. some chams want to taste and eating that would/coiild kill them. i use fake plants but 95% are live. i just use fake to decorate areas untill the real plants grow better. I've heard that silk leaves are glued to the "vine" and as a result can be eaten causing problems. I had some bearded dragons on the porch one day and thats exactly what they did - ate silk leaves from a plant. Luckily they were adults and the leaves were small and I had no issues. I'd stick with plastic.

I myself like plastic a little more. Like Jann says it is easy to drink off of and I set up leaves so that my dripper drips onto somewhat of a chain of leaves. The water drips down from leaf to leaf giving a better opportunity for your cham to get water. They are also more stable than the silk to climb on. And I just like the look of the plastic ones a little better.

that is what i was thinking too .
i think i will get more plastic but i think i will go with silk too.
