Attention all Trioceros owners

I am doing a project for my herpetology class explaining the history, and other things of the Trioceros sub genus. I need your awesome pictures! If anyone has any pictures that I am allowed to use in my presentation then please send them to me. Please include sex, species name (im an armature identifier), and approximation of the age. This class is mostly filled with grad students so I have to make it good. I figured id get the best cham people to get pictures of some of the best chams. If you have great pictures with a water print in it, that is still fine with me. You might as well get credit for your beautiful animal.

Please send the photos to [email protected] if you want to show off your chams in my herp class.

Thank you in advance for sending me these pictures.
Also, there is never too many pictures, so don't be shy.

jackson's pics

when do you need the pics by ?, my computer recently crashed (without backup), and i lost most of my pics , but i will be glad to take some tomorrow (time providing), and i will look to see what i have on my external hard drive, also you are welcome to use any pics from my cf public album. there may also be some neonate pics left on fc classifieds in the chams for sale section (currently on page 4)

Trioceros is it's own genus.

Well pickle me green that happened a while ago. Where have I been.
I don't know if its worse that I didn't know that, or that when I emailed my prof he didn't catch it. At least I only look like a fool on here, and not in class

I don't need them until a month or more so you have plenty of time to take some really good photos.

Unless your professor is a specialist on Iguanian (maybe more broadly Squamate) Systematics or specifically works on chameleons, it is not surprising that he would not be up to date on what is ultimately a minute change. Most "herpetologists" are very specified within the field and very few can afford the time to track taxonomic changes at that level of specificity, even if they teach a general herpetology course.

Take a look at some of the chameleon photos I have on my site and let me know if any would be particularly useful (http://www.chamaeleonidae.com/Photography/Pages/Chamaeleonidae.html). Also feel free to let me know if there is any info you're looking for as I may be able to help you get it.

Nightcrawler i've sent you an email.. did you got it??

Yea I just checked now. Im sure I will use a few of your pictures because Quads and Montium are my favorite chams. Thanks to everyone who sent me some photos, and keep them coming.

Also if anyone knows of some good articles about the natural history of Trioceros then that would be much appreciated.

Thanks again all.
Matt.
