As some of you know I have a pair of CB parsons, the male was just 60g when I got him just over a year ago, here he is June 2016, so very small and very nervous.

@jamest0o0 you asked what weight he is now, I've just weighed him and he's 470g, he consistently puts on an average of 25g per month,
When I got him I named him Parsnip but as he is growing into such a handsome male he's had a change of name that I think better suits him,
So please meet Atticus.
He tolerates handling and is surprisingly good considering how timid he was when I first got him,
it's taken 15 months of working with him everyday so that he now is happy to feed from my fingers.
Pity today he decided to shed and within a matter of hours it seems and looking rather grumpy after being weighed but I'm loving how big and chunky he is getting.
@AZChamFan would you still like him to come and live with you??;):p

Tabitha.. he looks amazing keep up the good work by the way how's your girl doing?
Hi Felix, hoping you are o.k, thanks for the message, he's such a nice boy isn't he and no trouble.
The female is being tricky! on a hunger strike which is freaking me out a bit!
She did have an ultrasound the other day, no problems and NO eggs, she's so big and active, well hydrated and looks fine, but she's keeping me on my toes that's for sure.

LOL! Hey Boo.
Certainly one of the influences for sure, love that film but actually another Atticus was the main reason. I thought it was such a handsome name. :)

wait, there is a film? :O naah lol jk. saw the Movie once when I was 9 but just from the part where Atticus shots the rabid dog. I read the book 2 times due. in English class. I loved it, I identified myself with scout so much in her thinking. such a smal Child with such simple and straight mind about the World. hell, if everybody was like her halv of the World would be a good Place to live, and the other halv wouldn´t be too bad at all to stay long periods of time.

kudos on the name. love names that reffer to good literature.

He looks so handsome. I almost said beautiful, but with that new name I better say HANDSOME!!! I really like the name! And yes of course the invitation for him to live in AZ is still open! I'm not getting my hopes up too much though! It's hard to believe what a difference 15 months has made........just proof of the exceptional care he gets.:)

Thank you AZ, I'll bear you in mind, I'd have to bring him in person though! :D
That would be o.k wouldn't it? :p
Imagine what he will look like in a year's time!

Thank you Jann, hoping you are well,
he and the Mrs are just about to move into new much bigger houses, new mistking system, better ventilation, murals on the walls, new electrics, with warm sunrooms attached,
I am now a very exhausted and penniless parson keeper! :D:ROFLMAO:

Hey @Twitchet not trying to take away from your post, but figured this would be a good place to get yours and others opinions/experiences on something...

Have any of you kept Parsons outside through the winter(where it gets cold). Like a small shed with a thermostat space heater. Would seem to be an easy way to keep brumating temperatures in a solid range. I guess you'd have to worry about the mister and stuff freezing though.

Just curious! Don't mean to hijack
