Baby chameleon has small bump on crest

Hello guys,
my baby chameleon developed a small bump on his crown recently, and im worried it is something serious.
He is still active and behaves normally, still eats, drinks and his stool also looks normal. I feed him small crickets and fruit flies, I also have a box of crickets in his enclosure so he has access to food throughout the day. I supplement with calcium once every one to two weeks. I also gutload the insects with vegetables and fruit.
He is currently about 8 weeks old, I got him a month ago from a breeder and he has been doing fine the whole time.
The cage i currently have is 45x45x90, I have a bigger one waiting for him once he grows. I am using a 50w heat bulb and a t5 arcadia 10% uvb tubelight.
The picture without the bump was taken 2 days before I noticed it.

Any help would be appreciated. Im worried that it could be a skin infection.

I can barely see the bump if you can take pics closer it would be better.

Only supplementing once to every two weeks can lead to MBD. They should be dusted with plain calcium no D3 every day and then use a multivitamin with D3 2 times a month say the 1st and the 15th.

I would use the 6% bulb that arcadia makes for the T5... Are you sure your using a T5HO fixture? Arcadia has only made 10% bulbs for a T8 fixture, to my knowledge they have never made one for a T5HO fixture.

Just double checked, I am currently using the 6% T5. I started supplementing more calcium over the last few days, ill continue to dust the insects every day. I hope these images are better. He has had the lump for the past week and it hasnt gotten bigger. Im a student and would like to avoid a vet visit unless its really necessary. Could this possibly be scar tissue?

Can the crickets get out of the feeder? Could be a bite.

I would watch the bump and see if it changes in size. It could reduce on it's own if it was a bite.

Make sure your husbandry is on point including proper supplementation.

The crickets arent able to get out of the box, but I used to feed him fruit flies and there are still some in his enclosure. Ill make sure that I give him proper supplementation.

Thank you so much for the advice
