I got my new chameleon yesterday and just wanted to know is it normal that he is not eating and that he hardly moves while he’s adjusting to his new enclosure?
He’s bright coloured so I think he’s settling ok as he was darker yesterday but he just switches sides from the heat bulb to the uvb bulb but never leaves the top of the viv. I also haven’t seen him drink yet but his poop was bright white.

Give him a few days to get situated in his new home. They usually wont eat for a few days sometimes just a heads up so you dont panic when you dont see him eating

Are you turning off the lights at night? It is normal for them to back off food and be very cautious in a new environment. But the environment needs to be set up appropriately for them. If you want to take some pics of your enclosure lights down that would be helpful.
