baby chameleon shedding

is it a normal thing for chameleon close eye , dark colour, then rubbing eye while shedding process ?

They do sometimes rub their eyes to remove a shed. It would help to see a picture to see how dark. What kind of chameleon? How old?

i think i know why they close their eyes,
i have 4 babies panther chameleon in 1 cage, they are 1 clutch, but i ever seperate them 2 and 2 for a few days, and put them back in large cage 45 x 45 x 90 cm
now, 1 of them feel unwell.
I make a new cage to seperate the others, hope it can reduce the stress.
I ready when chameleon feel stress , and too much stress, they will close their eyes , so they cant see the source of stress.

That is the problem. Once they are separated they need to stay separated. Good call.
