I am worried...as new moms get...I just got a baby. He is so tiny. :) He has been enjoying fruit flies because I was told that he was to little to eat anything bigger. While sitting with him on my finger this morning, he ate 3 house flies. which are every where at the moment because it is the end of the season and they are annoying. I could not believe he ate them beings he is so tiny and because they are wild. Does that mean he will get sick? Please if anyone can give me an answer...-Aileena

Congrats on your new baby. Hopefully he want get sick as long as they were pesticide free. House flies would be a good feeder for him but I recommend that you buy them and not use wild caught. I'll give you a link for where I buy mine. He could also eat pinhead crickets.

He will probably not get sick. Even if the house flies are big, as long as he ate them fine he will probably be fine. House flies have a lot of bacteria, but I doubt he will get sick. :)

He will be fine. You can get Housefly larve and pupae from Mantisplace.com that are commercially raised.

feeding houseflies is fun!! all other feeders are slow by comparison, and it's a reminder just how quick and far most chams can be with their tongues!
