i have succesfully breaded my first 'batch' of newborn crickets. there are hundred of the little guys and i know they are good climbers (i looked it up and they keep climbing up the tank). my tank is made of glass and has some sort or rubbery sub stand on the sides (like all other tanks so water stays in). my new crickets have been climbing up this so i put tape on it so they don't get out, which none have, so far! u wanted to ask if these soon to b food babies can climb up the glass. i also wanted to know if wen i put the tape on, little air pockets will affect my keeping them out process.

Clear packaging tape. Put it about half way down into the tank across the sides and over the aquarium glue. Blow them down first so they don't stick to the tape :p
Easier if you get a deep plastic storage container though.
Air pockets shouldn't as long as there is not a ton of them

great! i put clear packaging tape before all around the tank just in case, but should i put it just over the aquarium glue, or do i HAVE to put it all around

You should also try what I do, buy some coffee filters, and cover the top screen part so that any baby crickets or pinheads can't get out. :D
