Hi, new member, first post! Long time veiled owner, first time Jackson owner, and first time tiny baby raiser.

super excited, three jacksonii jacksonii babies arrived this morning, any tips for the first 24-72 hours?

Congrats! Moderate temps, good hiding places, good air quality/cleanliness, and easy access to water. Tiny ones like these can get stressed out and dehydrate really fast!

Extra care with husbandry, supplementation, etc. They have a high mortality rate when this small.

Great question, they are no more than an inch and a half head to tail. Less than 4 weeks? I was hoping they would be a bit bigger but Mt Kenya Jackson’s are so rare.

They are very delicate at this age. They do best if raised in pairs or even better solo enclosures. If that isn't possible I would suggest a wide large heavily planted cage so they don't have to run into each other.

Three days in, doing well! Eating fruit flies, pin heads and tiny Dubias! Basking and napping after chowing a Dubbie!
