Very nice! So I guess the Mellers is hanging in there. Any idea what was wrong with them all?

Did I mention I got a Nosey Be? He looks much smaller than yours though. Lucky.

what line does your nosy be come from?

He is from Bruce at Chameleon Paradise, his sire "Super Blue"

Hey Brad,

Im sorry to hear that one of them didnt make it and yeah we took a rather big risk as i keep looking back. But im glad your #1 is doing good, what have you been feeding yours?

Yup! Chad's animals are amazing.

Awe, I can't remember your name, but that's sad one of them died! :(
Edit: Brad, lol. Must have just signed up for a profile too.

hey man, what we ethink was primarly wrong with them is that the truth is they were imported babies...basically WC hatchlings...i doubt they were ch and cb is a joke....that would explain why most of the bunch were going down hill, both on the care and the extreme toll of stress from import:(

Dang that's depressing. At least yours is doing good and his other is too. I would say bring them to the meeting, but it's probably too stressful right now.

yeah it would be too much for the baby meller and just started to be more adventerous and wants out of the cage:rolleyes: true wild cham:p

i started with a plastic bin but he/she acted too stressed and made me puzzle why? once i thought what Rob told me they were most likely WC, i tried, why not leave him in a cage outside with some plants? i did and it really calmed him/her down and relax enough to snag a couple tiny silkworms and go for some house flies:eek: haha,

the baby meller drank water from the get go, but the eating was what worried me, im not as worried as i was a few days a ago:eek:

Selling chameleons that are that young cb, ch, or wild caught is unethical. I would not purchase anything until they are 2-3 months old or older. Anything younger is just way to delicate to be moved around as they require much up bringing until they are hardy enough to be confidently sold.

I couldnt agree more, but i just didnt want all 15 or so babies within cage all die from not selling and bought from not experienced cham owners....i already did see one dead on the floor before i left the show... it is unethical

I hear you however if the seller is scorned it is less likely to happen again. Retailers should be held to a higher slandered. You should not be put into that position (buying chameleons that are to young) in the first place. Most senior keepers/breeders are well aware of this.

This is true and i understand how that process helps for future mistakes not to happen in the first place. I certainly wont be in that position again and i learned from it.

Yours looks like a great baby though. Hope your mellers grows into an impressive adult. Selling babies that are to young happens from time to time just don't condone it.
