hi all, picked up a baby nosy be the weekend its about a month/month and a half old. its drinking fine and shed yesterday but still aint fed. i am taking it out and putting it in a lage container so i can monitor its feeding, but nothing! i have offered it meal worms , crickets and fruit flies. any ideas?

Your little cham is stressed and getting used to his new home. Just shedding as well can decrease his appetite. Mine just went thru the same thing with his shed.

Just leave him alone.....He needs time to get used to his new home and surroundings. Dont take him out of his cage to feed, that will stress him out more and you will just compound the situation.

Are you misting him at least 3 times a day and does he have access to a dripper?

Mealworms are not nutricious for your cham so just give him the crickets and fruitflies for now.

I am sure some of the more experienced keepers will add their great advice as well...I have learnt a lot from them :D

Welcome to the wonderful world of chams!

thanks for your quick reply i was starting to think it might be getting a bit stressed. its not my first cham, i used to have a vield, but this is my first panther and my first baby one.
