i had alook for the eggs after the mother died but couldnt find any so these hatched in the tank, i found 2 on wednesday but 1 didn't survive and died the same nite and i found 1 this morning.
how big are pinheads suposed to be never used them before i got mine today (could only get them today as previously posted in another thread) and i think they are to big.

You prob got 1 wks instead of pins. Its common to get inexact sizes when dealing with crick vendors. At least it has been in my experience. Also depends what day those hached out on compared to the day they were shipped etc... Ive ordered pins that looked like they were 10 day sized. Then Ive recently ordered 10 day and they looked really small. Its a pita, thats why its really cool once they can start eatting 1/8" cricks. Good luck with the little ones.

i told the person i got them off i needed the smallest ones you can buy, he said what are they for. i told him they was for baby pygs and he said you'll need tiny pinheads ill get you some:mad: i had to get my girlfriend pick them up due to work else i would of told him they was to big.

do you really need pinheads? I ordered 1/8" and they came REALLY small (i'm guessing they were mislabeled cause they are easily smaller than my D.mela fruit flies at 1/16")...

in any case, can't you just feed d.mela's instead? they seem a TINY bit big, but should easily fit in their mouth

What up Evil. I know your coming tonight to pick up those female pygmies but I just came across this post. You shouldve been feeding them flightless fruit flies. They should also have been house in a little plastic cricket keeper type thing until at least 3 weeks old.
