Baby veiled eats a TON

i will start off the day by putting about 15 crickets in there and in like 30 mins they are gone, later in the evening i will put about 12 to 15 more in and he will do the same thing. i am sure it has something to do with the size of the crickets....most of them are about 1/8 and some are about 1/4 but he loves them! is eating about 30 a day too much for a 2 month old veiled?

Tthats the same feeding schedule i do for my babies and only dust one of the feedings per day you can split in into 3 feedings too if you like.

Baby veileds are serious when it comes to eating. I give my 3 month 15-20 huge gutloaded crickets a day and he goes on a masacure to eat them. Keep in mind a lot of growing goes on at this young age

The crickets may be too small for him. Try 5/8 sized or even 3/8 sized.

Babies are supposed to eat alot.

Dont try a bigger cricket right now, if he really is 2 months old, he may choke on a bigger cricket size.

for now, smaller is better.
