Baby veiled has swollen eyes

I recently saw a baby male veiled chameleon at petco that has slight swelling on the corner of his eyes. I reported it to the manager and they took him to the vet but even the vet wasn't 100% sure what caused it. They gave him a special type of eye drops but when i followed up with the petco manager, she said there wasn't much improvement after a week... what could this be? Fyi im not going to purchase a chameleon from petco but i really wish i could just rescue him from that horrible pet store. =(

I’ve seen that before years ago. My vet called it a plug and at the moment I can remember exactly what he did but I believe he got the plug out and put the chameleon on an antibiotic.
