so i just became a father to 28 babies lol. i am in experienced ill admit and need some advice on what to feed and how to feed the baby veiled. i know they need fruit flies but i cant find anything below 30 bucks which i am unsure but seems crazy expensive compared to 1.39 for a dozen crickets. any links would be highly appreciated and any tips on watering. i'm misting regularly on leaves until i see little drops but not super sure since i always watch my big girl azula drink out of a dripper.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on your babies. I love babies. They usually start eating 1 to 2 days after they hatch. Where do you live? Incase I know a breeder near you that might can help you out. You will have to put out the big bucks for the fruit flies. I usually get two producing cultures and make more cultures from those. Be sure to buy producing flies or it could take a week for them to start hatching. I'll get you a link where to buy and a link on how to make cultures. Veileds will be able to eat pin head crickets too. You can order those by the thousands. After about 2 weeks if they are growing well you can get a little bit bigger crickets. I'll get you a link for where I buy crickets also. Please let me know if there's anything else I can help you with.

Keeping misting all the leaves 3 to 4 times a day and the babies should get water from the leaves.

Buy fruit fly producing cultures here: http://www.joshsfrogs.com/producing-flightless-drosophila-hydei-fruit-fly-culture.html

You can buy supplies to make cultures here and I'm going to get you a link to make your own if you area day have some deli cups.

I'd go with the one week crickets. https://www.armstrongcrickets.com/georgia/oneweek-crickets

Here's some baby veileds I had in the past. You can see how I had them set up.
