Fill out the help form and we will be more able to help you. It is found in the health section. Chams sleeping during day is NOT a good sign.

Update

Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species is a veiled chameleon, male, and about 2 months old. He has been in my care for 3 days?
Handling - I have handled him twice so far for no more then 10 minuets, I want him to be used to his environment before too much interaction?

Feeding - I have been feeding him small crickets? I have been putting around 8 in its cage? Once a day? I have been putting fluckers Cricket catcher in their keeper and dusting them with calcium powder?

Watering - I have been misting the chameleons habitat 2-4 times a day ?

The chameleon has not been tested for anything yet.

Cage Info:
Small screen cage, I believe it is the 18x12x20
Lighting - I have one long UVB light and one heat lamp which I leave on all day as long as the sun is out.
Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps?
I have not measured the temperature or humidity yet.
Plants - I am using fake plants and I have live branches from outside my home.
Placement - My cage is located in the corner of my room on a table.
I am located in Orlando FLorida

We need to know the temps of the cage.

We also need to know the brand and uvb output of the bulb you have.

how much foliage is in the cage.

can you post photos of the cage and him please?

Okey so from what I have read. Firstly, provide him with 12 hour light and 12 hour complete darkness, measure the temps as quick as you can, he can be really tired from having a too hot enviroment and I would also try get his uvb light a bit higher from the cage as it can disturb his eyes if they are to strong. And if his humidity is too low his eyes will dry out and causing him to close them. Take a look at the care sheet on the left side of this page to see further info.

update

I brought him to someone who I knew had a lot of knowledge of reptiles, he said there was nothing I could do and my chameleon was just very sick.
When I got home from class he was dead :(
