basking light out this morning!

I woke up and my cham's uv light was on but not his basking light. I just bought the bulb a month ago. I had to go to work so I put in a 13 watt for the day till I get home from work. I will get another basking bulb today. I will get 2 in case this happens again. I am going to take the bad bulb back to the store I got it from. Will my cham be okay for the day???

I do have the lights on timers to go on in the morning and off at night.

Just buy regular household incandescent bulbs from the hardware or grocery store. Saves you tons of money. The bulbs marketed for reptiles are a waste of money and they blow out just as quickly.
