I think it's the babies that eat these the most since they're so tiny if these are the beetles also known as bean weavles.

They LOVE them! they are also 30% higher protein then fruit flies, and they breed like crazy. I feed them to my bradypodion, tavetana, uthmoelleri and hoehnelli. They fly but just barely, its more of an attempt to fly, they only go a few feet or inches.

Where did you get those? I have been wanting to get a bean beetle culture going for some time for my plants.

My fly cultures recently crashed too (errrrr....). Forgot to get new cups going.... My plants are all starving... (not really, they catch bug on their own just fine)

I got them from a local friend and chameleon keeper. All they need to breed are black eyed peas, and they dont need or like to be misted or kept humid.
