Beardie wake up?

I have for the first time turned off all lights and heat for my granddaughter's beardie. When I came home this morning the lights were still off and the temp was around 70F. She was still asleep and seemed quite sluggish. Is this the normal wake up behavior? She just looks odd to me since I am used to her being very alert and running around. I made a big deal of moving her down into the living room rather than staying in my granddaughter's room since she does not come up as often due to school and other 12 year old activities. I just hope she doesn't get sick or something!

Night time temps of 70 is fine for either a baby or an adult beardie. Make sure the heat lamp goes on first thing in the morning and they will bask to warm themselves back up.

Thanks, she was OK when I got up this afternoon. I was just not familiar with seeing her like this. I thought it was OK but just wanted to check. Like I said I made a big deal of moving her and if she should get sick and die or something I would feel horrible.

any cold blooded animal is going to be a bit slugglish in the mornings when temps have dropped overnight.

SInce they are cold blooded, they need the warmth to get them up and moving.

Its normal for them to be slow in the morning, then start to warm up and get more active.
