I have a vailed he's about a year old first of all is that mature enough to mate? And 2nd I'm getting a female who's only a couple months I no u can breed them in spring but is there another time in same year that I can mate him?

Breeding is a big task, and always is an interest to anyone who keeps chams. If you want to breed them, do plenty of research first. I would keep both chams seperate, and wait until they are both at least 2 years old.

Breeding will require incubating the eggs at proper temperature, many seperate cages for the young chams, large amounts of fruit flies, and pinhead crickets, and of course your time. This can be a large responsibility to take on, so the best advice is to research and ask as many questions as you can before deciding to breed the chams.

Good luck,
Leland
