Beginning handling

Hey everyone I'm just curious how you would go about upgrading/ handling a male nosy be in to a bigger cage his doh is 5/13/14 and I recieved him on 8/14/14 he has eating (12-15 crickets every day except Sundays)& drinking routine down he's starting to become very curious of me when I mist his cage he comes up to the front to sit and watch sometimes he goes into the mist he turns such a pretty blue when he does that ( I never spray him directly with water ) I have not handled him at all the only time I held him was to put him in the enclosure when I first got him but I think where at the point to where we could get used to each other a little bit .. I would like to be able to handle him so I can take him to a outside cage for natural light during the morning I figure when I do that I could take everything out of the cage he's in and put it into a bigger one .. I don't want to stress him out since he's just getting used everything so I would like to know what you did and how to start handling him properly should I offer my hand to see if he comes or a branch of some sort ??

I have a 9 month old male veiled & I've had him for 7months. I started by just having his door open on his enclosure. I'd sit close to it and after a week or so hold my hand inside a little bit. It took a while, I think it was about a month of sitting there with my hand falling asleep from holding it out so long, but one day he was suddenly climbing up my arm. Now he's so comfortable with being out I sometimes have a hard time keeping him in. I joke about him thinking he should be a free range cham. For a while I wondered if I would ever be able to handle him because he was so aggressive, even bit me pretty good a couple times. I just had to learn that he comes out on his terms, when he's ready, a wax worm once in a while helps a little too. Just be patient with him. Take it slow-sounds like you have been already.
