I have only got crickets for my chameleon... I am going to order some worms for him and need to know the easiest and most healthy worms to take care of are. I want to get them in bulk and want to know witch is easy to keep alive. Also what are some good cheap sites that are close to the East Coast(Prefferably NC) that I could order from?

Thanks.

Usually super worms are kept pretty easily. We order a thousand or 500 at a time and put them in a 10g aquarium with oatmeal and baby meal in the bottom. We also provide them with veggies and water crystals, like the crickets, and gutload them with cricketfood.com gutload right before they are eaten. Silk worms are a more expensive and delicate compared to meal worms and require more regular care, but are more nutritious for your cham. Horn worms are also an option you can check those out at coastal, they fall in between supers and silkies as far as health and easy keeping goes.
You could try www.luckylure.com for mealworms and www.coastalsilkworms.com for silkworms.
Have you considered dubia? I really like them, here is a good site for them:

Hope this helps

Another thing about the superworms, if you make sure theyre well fed they'll last for like 6 months if you dont feed them off. They stay alive for quite awhile.

Thanks for the advice. I have a 4month almost 5 month male Veiled. What size superworms and dubias should I order?

Superworms can STINK if you dont clean out cage they are in.
Make sure the food is taken out before it can mold, buy extra bran for them to crawl arround in, and clean out the dead ones.
Nico is right, they have a very long lifespan.
Shelf life can be up to 6 months.

Now are superoworms good to feed a 4 month male Veiled? hes eating half size crix right now.

Superworms may be a little big for him now. Silkworms are easy to care for, have a low mortality rate, and don't stink! Feed them every other day or so and they'll grow slower.

That would depend on how big he is! I didn't realize he was so young, when I recommended the supers to you. You could try small/medium silkies once or twice and once he starts eating the ones that grow larger, consider supers. With Dubia, which don't fly or climb, I think most peoples ultimate goal is to be self sufficient with them and to maintain a small colony to feed out of "prepaid." I would get a batch of small/medium sized with a few adult pairs to get a small colony started.

bluebeast has a nice care sheet for you on any food you would like to raise yourself....pretty detailed and step by step

Breeding Superworms is quite easy, and you can feed them off when they are small enough. You can buy say 500 small superworms for now, some large if can for breeding. I have a 3 drawer plastic bin from walmart that works great. 2 drawers for worms, one for the beetles to breed in.

As far as silkworms, you can breed them but Ive personally had horrible problems with viruses for them when they got older. The first month would be fine but then by the time I got any eggs from the moths Id have way too few left. I gave up on breding silks, I just buy the Pods every once in a while
