Best Hygrometer?

I don't think cham hobbyists are looking for scientific research level precision from their hygrometers. All you really want is consistency.

And for that reason, whatever brand/make of hygrometer you purchase, make sure you get a digital one. Don't bother with those analogue dial-type ones. They're way too inconsistent.

Even cheap digital ones will provide you with reasonable accuracy and good consistency.

In my experience, something like this from eBay is pretty much all you need:
Indoor - Outdoor Max & Min Thermometer & Hygrometer
(and it has an external probe so that you can monitor the basking spot temps).

To be honest I don't even use one. I got one for my first cham, and I still have it, but I never even look at it. I don't work with any species that has a very strict requirement, but even still it's not too hard to tell the humidity of an enclosure.
