i am looking to buy some supplies fir my cham and for my future plans for breeding and i am looking to buy cages, humidity gauges, light fixtures, lighting, etc. anyone know any good sites? I was planning to use mainly amazon and craiglist surf but if there is any good priced sites anyone knew i woukd check first.

Also random question cause i dont want to wase a thread spot but i wanted to see but what people used. But what lighting do you guys use to keep planting alive? I am having issues keeping mine alive.

It may depend a bit on what you're getting. I get things like UVB bulbs on Amazon for a lot less, while I get my light fixtures at Home Depot/Lowe's. I've also had a lot of luck getting my thermometer/hygrometers on sale at Lowe's, but they would be cheaper on Amazon as well usually. You may have to do a little shopping at different supply websites (like LLLReptile.com or Pangeareptile.com, etc.) and see how much things like supplements come out to with shipping - different websites have sales occasionally, so it may pay off to look around before committing to a purchase.

And as far as lighting, it's usually recommended that when you buy a fixture for your UVB that you look for a double bulb one - that way you can have your UVB on one side and then get a daylight bulb (available at any home improvement store very cheaply) on the other to add light to the whole cage. I like the bulbs labelled 5,000K (white) but the 6,500K (very white) ones are even brighter.
