Best position for additional ventilation

Hi everyone! I am very much new to the world of chameleon care so forgive my lack of knowledge on this. I am in the process of modifying a large viv for a juvenile panther. I am going to clad and waterproof the inside but my thinking was to clad over the viv ventilation and add my own larger net screens to improve ventilation. Another reason for doing this is because some of the viv's ventilation is very close to the bottom and I'd like to cover that area as I'm going bioactive. I guess my question is where is the best place to position these screens? I've seen ones with the tops replaced but I was thinking of smaller 12x6in ones on each side and a bigger one on the back. I'm not sure how good they are in terms of being a potential breeding ground for bacteria in the humidity though. If you think this sounds viable how would you position them i.e. higher/lower up the sides/back or a combination? Hope someone can help!!! And lovely to meet you all!

In my experience it doesn’t make a difference wheather you put the vents in on the side or back. What does matter is making sure you have vents on the top and bottom of the viv. This is what allows the air to flow in and out as it heats up or cools down.
