Hi,
There may be a thread on this already, but I thought that I would ask... Is there a locale of Panther that is more open to being handled and more personable? I ask this because I have read a bit about how some people's chameleons come to them and love to be picked up and taken out of their cages (particularly Nosy Be it seems) and I just thought I would ask and see. For me, my most personable one is my WC Ambilobe Thanks

It really seems to just depend on the particular chams personality...I have a Fischer and looking up some research they are said to be very aggressive(hissing, biting, etc) yet my guy loves attention and loves being out of his cage. My Ambilobe is also ok with handling, he doesn't mind it but he doesn't wait for me as my Fischer does.

my pygmies are very different. My male loves rides and will quickly load onto my finger and my female pyg runs away!

From what I have seen on here it totally depends on the chameleon itself. There are some members who have nice Veilds and others that are mean. Same with the panthers.

I would say panthers have a good rep. But I have great freindly panthers. And panthers that will KILL you with one look. I belive it is the individual animal that makes the difference. Not just species.
