Big Apple Misting System Question.

Has anybody used this system and if so is it good? It is within my budget of a misting system that I was gonna buy, but I want to make sure its good seeing that there is a no return policy on misting systems... Any input please.

I know Mist King is backordered, but I'd try to stick it out if possible and wait to get their starter package. It's an awesome and very simple misting system to use.

If I'm not mistaken the pump that comes with the Big Apple sysem cannot run dry. I may be wrong, but the last I heard that was the case. Eventually there will be a time the system runs dry and having a pump that's able to run dry for a period of time is a great option.

Yeah I looked at Mist King first and all thier kits are backordered. So I was looking around and came across the Big Apple one. I want to make sure I get a new system soon for about a hundred bucks. I got the after Christmas blues when it comes to funds.

You can also try The Chameleon Kingdom. They're one of the sponsors, and they sell Mist King supplies but I believe what they have may be more than what you were looking to spend. But I just wanted to throw that option out to you. Also search the forum here for dyi misting system. There's some good information that may be of assistance.

Yeah I just purchased The Ultimate Setup kit just because it said the new pumps will be in between Dec. 25th and the 1st week of January so whats a few days... Got this kit http://www.mistking.com/product.php?productid=16219&cat=249&page=1

Th bit apple kit is deadly, literally... it'll burn the house down if the pump runs out of a water supply. It can never run dry.
