Bio Bubble Pet Chameleon Drinking Fountain

Typically I dislike most of Bio Bubble's stuff but the fountain actually seems like a great idea. I recently invested in one (I bought a dripper too, but I read how difficult the drippers can be).

I need to get a power strip to actually use it, which I will do this weekend. I was wondering if anyone else got one? It seemed to have great reviews on youtube (both human and chameleon alike).

It's small, so I like that.

Question - the instructions seem to indicate the carbon filter goes on top of the grate but all the users seem to put the grate on top. Which is it? o.o!

This item has been on the fourms more than once asking the same question. From what i've read though, Majority of chameleons will drink from it, just not all do right away, some you have to give a few weeks to adjust to it. I don't own one, but for your question, i'm going to guess that the grate is on top but i could be wrong.

Which question? How well does it work or the grate?

From what it seems like if the filter is on the bottom it may flip over. This is why I'm confused by the instructions and the set up.

I bought one knowing that it would require at least weakly cleanings to make sure there's no bacteria growth. The grate works well at keeping bugs out of the filter and such, the instructions do say on top, but it doesn't fit that way so it may be a printing mistake. That being said, my Cham wanted nothing to do with it. 2 weeks and never once used it, just used his dripper and taking water off the leaves from the mister.. I ended up just giving it away. I've heard others have had luck though. My Panther...not so much.

I need to get a power strip before I can use mine. My veiled is so tiny still, very young. She seems tolerant of most things. She's taken to letting me hold her while feeding her, I'm hoping this is a good sign that her personality is open. So the fountain may work for her.
