I have recently had my first chameleon.
He is a Veiled chameleon 2.5 months old.
Im worried about the black blotches on either side of him.
His setup is as follows:
Viv: 100 gallon Flexarium which is out of high traffic and the top is about 6ft from the floor
Lights: 2x 24" Reptisun 5.0 which sit on top of his flex
8am-8pm
Heating: 150w ceramic heater & 75w Heat glo bulb
Temps: 86-90F at basking spot 70-80F elsewhere.
Humidity:40-60%
Food: Size 4 Crickets which are dusted with D3 (Tues,Fri.) Without D3 (Weds,Sat). Multivitamin (Mon,Thurs)
I have attached a pic of his spots and the viv setup
