Current Problem: I found a little bit of blood on the floor of the cage. I just checked him over, no cuts, no flesh wound or anything on the outside that you would automatically see. He eats fine, he just ate today. I just saw him drink today.:confused::confused: Is there any possible explanation?

Take a quick look at his toenails and his cloaca. If you see any bit of blood near his bottom it could have been a slight scab on one of his hemepenes. Sometimes a tiny bit of the hemepene will stick out and scab over. The next time it "pops" out the scab can fall off and drops of blood will fall to the floor. A few drops is nothing to worry about.

The reason I asked the color is because you supplement with Repahsy Cal +. I've talked numerous people that thought their Cham was bleeding, but it turned out to be the Calcium Plus. That product has little red beads, that when wet on the cage floor, look like reddish/orange blood.

If it is in fact blood, I'm sure the other members can help you. I just wanted to throw that out there just in case.

This IS good to know,
I never even thought about that...

Just thinking out of the box here...any chance it was your own blood? You could of had a scratch or scab or something and bumped it on something in the cage and caused you to bleed.
