Do you have to bake braches from outside? i have one that is clean and doesn't fit inside by oven. If i trim it its too small to fit in my cage

A thorough scrubbing and soak in a 1/10 ratio of bleach to water should disinfect the branch. Some people leave the bark on so the chameleon can grip the branch better.
