Broken back? Help!

This chameleon was brought to me in very bad shape. Twitching of the front limbs. Almost completely paralized in back. Most likely severe MBD, causing a spinal lesion. The front half skin is green the back half is dark brown. He is at the vets now. He is still dragging himself around and eating fine. Can he come back if the MBD can be treated right away (assuming he has no nerve damage to the spinal column)?

i would guess his back it broke and he is paralized.
that is why half is green and the other half is dark

do you know if he is eating or drinking? when our scooter was impacted he acted the same way! his bottom half almost looked dead.. he just pulled himself around by his front arms. once we cleared the impaction his color got better and he slowly was able to move his bottom half again

Could very well be an impaction. He is starting to prolapse his vent.

The vet gave him an enema. Lots of hard stool came right out. He is slightly moving his tail. How long will it take for him to get function back in his legs (if he can at all)?
He is still moving around the branches with his front legs
