Bug Burger vs Superload?

I was doing a little research on repashy's two dry gut loads that they sell and I am going to purchase one. Which is more practical, works better, and has more nutrients? I was reading up on an old thread on here with the same title but there wasn't really and information as to which one was better. I would love to here your opinions.

Bug Burger is more of a staple diet which feeders can be given as a main food source their whole lives. It is normally made into a gel and will act as a water source as well. Superload is more concentrated and intended mainly as a gutload just prior to feeding off the crickets, roaches etc. Personally I use both but the main diet of my feeders is still fresh greens and veggies with a little fruit sometimes. On occasion I substitute these with Bug Burger for extra variety. On days I'm feeding the animals I sprinkle some Superload on the fresh veggies to give them a little boost of nutrition. On days the feeders have had Bug Burger I don't do the Superload. It really depends on how you plan to keep and use your feeders. Everyone has their own unique methods of gutloading. Some use only veggies while others use almost exclusively dry gutload. I try to give the most variety possible and use a combination.

Both are great products but their ideal purpose is slightly different between them and I would personally recommend getting both. However, if you are set on just one for right now then I would suggest getting the Bug Burger. It is more of a daily diet for your feeders and is giving your chameleons the nutrition that they need.

The Superload is really a pure Gutload. Most call the Bug Burger a gutload as it does act as one but the Superload is really a pure gutload and not a daily diet for your feeders. What this means is once you receive your feeders, they don't have much if any nutritional value in them and you need to gutload them in order to pass those nutritional benefits onto your chameleon. The Superload does just that and will pack a ton of nutrients into them in a short time but after this first 24-48 hours the feeders need an actual diet that will support them too so this is where the Bug Burger comes into play.

So overall, the Bug Burger will work great all the time for your feeders and chameleons where Superload is ideally for the first initial/weekly gutloading of your feeders.

Thank you so much for clearing this up I was a bit confused about the difference. :D

Also I find that my Crickets, dubia and super worms will more rapidly eat bug burger, I often see lil clumps of both uneaten at times though for the record! Just my 2 cents

i ended up getting a large jar of bug burger and the crickets and roaches love it!! can i feed it to supers and horn worms as well?

Supers yes, hornworms may or may not eat it. Silkworm chow is usually used for hornworms. By using silkworm chow to feed your hornworms you will be including another unique food item which will result in their nutritional makeup being more unique to the crickets and roaches, in turn increasing the advantage of feeding a variety of prey items to your cham.
