Are you guys serious? You can just use it as a sprinkled supp? D'oh! Never thought about this! Here I've been slaving over the hot microwave all this time...
mine seem to prefer it dry ... when I do use it "cooked" they like it better with dino fuel or cricket crack mixed in or sprinkled on.
I use both fresh veggies and the bug burger. I cook mine, have never tried to sprinkle it, though I might for my supers and meal worms. My crickets go nuts for the bug burger, but to keep the bottom of their cage a little cleaner, I break a couple of carrots in half, or use potatoes, and use that as a "base", and then lay a slab of the bug burger on top. That way it stays off the bottom of the cage for easier cleanup. They'll also eat the carrots, so the extra nutrition doesn't go to waste!

I forgot to mention - I make a double batch which fills a small Pyrex container (the size of small banana bread loaves). I've never tried freezing it, I just make that batch every week or so whenever it's needed. Good luck!

Yes it lasts for a week in the fridge. I just grab a pyrex measuring cup for liquids and put in the water. Then I add the powdered bug burger, stir to blend it completely, then put it in the microwave. I cook it for 3 minutes, then pour it into the container I'm going to store it in. I let it cool, put the lid on, and pop it in the fridge - total time is about 5 minutes, if that!
