Found this Mantis near outdoor light last night. Anyone out there know what species this could be. I put in cup with fruit flies, and insect had a trio of flies in the short period of time, I observed this morning. Size is about inch in length.
Have never seen one of these guys before, with the big wings.

It's actually not a mantis at all, but rather a mantis fly.
More closely related to lacewings.
