I just got a 1000 crickets delivered yesterday and when i put them in the bucket i noticed a couple of bugs in there. They came from Mulberry Farms, the reason i am naming them is because i have found them very reputable and i know if there is a problem they will solve it without question, so i am not tooo concerned aobut it and have heard about bugs coming in with them without problems. I am just wondering if this is one of them. There also was a much smaller one but it was ssooo small it didn't even show up in the pic so i didn't post it. It does look a little different, more like a little worm of some sort, although it did look like it had legs. Sooo, do i use the crickets or send them back?

I also ordered from Mullberry farms... and got the same little beetle like bugs, and little worms. I dont think they'll cause any threat to your chams or the crickets, I feed the crickets to my chams.

I'm pretty sure those bugs are intentionally placed with the crickets... supposedly they're the clean-up crew for the otherwise filthy crickets. Kind of like plecos (sucker fish) in an aquarium. I think.

If that is the case i suppose i shouldn't have thrown them out. Bummer. If that would help with the smell of those disgusting crickets i should have them send me some more.

I was told by my reptile store they were some kind of potato worm. The clean-up guys. Don't hurt anything, but don't put them in the cage with your chami.
